California District 72 Little League was established in 2008 and is comprised of six leagues in Western Riverside County. Our district spans over 130 square miles and we teach the fundamentals of baseball to over 2,200 boys and girls every season.
The Little League Baseball® program includes divisions for all children, ages 4–16. In addition to practicing on-field fundamentals and the excitement of playing games in a competitive environment, Little League Baseball utilizes the sport to strengthen each participant's self-esteem and confidence through a sense of community, inclusion, and teamwork.
Regardless of physical size, skill, strength, gender, religion, or nationality, Little League Baseball offers the opportunity for a child to experience and benefit from the life lessons, socialization, and camaraderie that are the cornerstones of the program.
Whether you are looking to compete against neighboring leagues or international countries, Little League Baseball is more than an organization; it’s a community baseball program operated by local volunteers, and dedicated to providing all children with a fun and engaging youth sports environment.
Our District Staff is a dedicated team of volunteers with over 50 years of combined Little League experience. While local leagues are responsible for the day-to-day operation of their leagues, district staff are available to assist and support the leagues if issues arise and to act as a source of information between the local leagues and the Little League Western Region Staff in San Bernardino.
Our District Advisory Board is made up of our local league Presidents (or their assigned designee).
These two groups work together and have regular meetings to establish district policies and vote on matters concerning the district.
